Pomodoro Timer

What is the pomodoro method?

Imagine you are a mortal being and therefore your time on this earth is limited. How will you spend your precious minutes? How will you account for the investment of your most valuable resource?

I cannot answer the first question for you, but the second one is a problem with a technical solution: this app, especially if you sign-up for the pro version (if you are already a subscriber, thank you so much :)). Pomodoro timer lets you create intentions and focus on them for a set amount of time. After you have finished focusing, you take a break!

You can choose to focus for however long you like, of course, but the traditional pomodoro technique prescribes a 25 minute period (a pomodoro), followed by a 5 minute break. After 4 pomodoros, you take a longer break of 15-20 minutes. This pattern helps you get deep work done while remaining cognizant of your priorities.

The pomodoro technique is a great way to break a task into managable pieces, and thus to conquer it, for the glory of the Lord. Remember, we are only stewards of all that which passes through our possession, including time. Focus and do your best work with the time that is given to you!
